Our Mission
Wake Up! AZ is a new movement to increase voter education, registration and participation, train new organizers, and
create leadership development in the Black community. For too long, we have been ignored, discouraged, intimidated,
and legislated out of the democratic process. By building connections, sharing resources and using innovative strategy,
we will “wake up” our people. This strength based approach will empower, unify and activate our community beyond the
elections in November.
